EPISODE 14

I missed the first 10 minutes and when I switched on the TV, Zoe was consoling a man at the airport, telling she could be his friend and that man left smiling. He looked like a potential psycho case.

Then we have Zoe, Belle and the rest of the gang helping a lady to give birth to a baby right in the airport's reception/waiting area! She was in urgent need to give birth and the doctor said no choice, must do it there. White clothes were used to cover up the small space and the woman gave birth to a baby girl named after Zoe and Belle. The significance of this scene? I am not sure. Maybe to promote the efficiency of the airport, maybe to show the blossoming friendship of Zoe and Belle.

Zoe still asked Belle if she was ok about the whole Sam issue and Belle looked quite fine with it.

Then back to Adelaide, this time our heroes have to chart a "fight plan" (according to Sam) for thier flight on some small "pranes". I am so sorry, I must do this. I was thinking what fight plan and when Sam was explaning that a fight plan, the purpose of it is to ... and I was thinking punch each other, knock each other out...Sam was saying to chart their "fight". It took me about 30 seconds to realise he was talking about "FLIGHT PLAN". Aiyayaaaaa...the only thing that will make this series into a joke is the bad English of some of the major players in here. I must pause here to narrate a story, a very funny one. My sis was in I think Hk and she took I think a Chinese airline flight to somewhere and the air stewardess said "Hope you have a nice FRIGHT". From that moment on, my sister's attention was fully focused on this "FRIGHT". Very funny. Why can't they pre-record all those welcoming messages?

Anyway so each charted a flight plan and guess what? All that should go badly did!

For one, Roy had to go to toilet, so he landed the plane. Donald was far too busy checking Zita out over the communications radio. Zita was the most diligent one and even she was accused of being too conservative in her judgment. Chris was I think too confident in his own judgment, he didn't even bother with the machines! Isaac was too gung ho in his flight plan and too busy taking pictures of himself in the plane that he got lost and had to cry mayday! mayday!

So when they landed, Sam of course gave them a good scolding and then paired them up in 2s and 3s to form a flight plan together. Chris was paired with Roy whilst Zita, Donald and Isaac were paired together and they protested; why can't they fly alone? Obvious isn't it?

So they charted a flight, flew half way and went into a storm or a thick cloud, got lost, lost communications with tower and Sam and fellow trainer and one gwailo who can really act were all very worried. In the end they kept their cool and safely landed. Sam praised them, reluctantly.

And sooooo 40 weeks have passed and they are back in HK and they graduated as second officer. All very happy but poor Donald, parents never came, again it was his father's assistant who came to congratulate them.

The end.

Plot wise, I find one aspect very interesting, where Sam would fly with each of them, and they will have to wear a helmet which shielded off their sight except for the machine in front of them. They had to learn to rely on the machines for directions and Isaac, got it all wrong and got scolded by Sam. Deserved it, totally.

Performance wise, the same. Bosco and others are still sidelines although everybody gave competent performances, nothing too difficult for them anyway. I do like Ron Ng though.Despite my emphasis on the FIGHT PLAN, I still think Francis Ng rules and I like Tang Chi Fung, the ever smiling instructor. May I add until now I still didn't catch his character's name.

The end credits, we have Tang Chi Fung looking mighty smart in his pilot's uniform explaining something that right now I can't quite remember ... oh yes, how before there was automatic pilot and the whole sort of modern devices, how the pilots then charted their flight plan and never got lost. I must say this means the olden day pilots were much better since they had nothing but their gut instinct as Tang Chi Fung put it.

I must say thing though, I wonder is Isaac in love with Zoe? He seems so excited receiving Zoe's email. I wonderrrrrrrrr.....No love stories YET between Zita and the rest which is great!

Before I end tonight's thoughts, I must say there are so many versions to Zoe. We have ZOE, ZOEY, JOEY, SHOEY, SOEY, SO-YEE, SHOW-YI....sighhhhhh...what a tortured name. Nothing as bad as one series, I forgot the title where the actors didn't even know whether to call this character Sabrina or Selina.

Hi Funn,

Sorry for a bit of wrong info. I try to check out how Tang Chi Fung's name is really spelt. I only found too article that mentioned him and both spelt is as Tang Jin Fung. U might want to change the spelling.

As for Zoe and Issac. I read in TVB series forum that Issac was suppose to have a crush on Zoe, but nothing will develop.

Btw, I watch the making of TITS. I think the sriptwriter of producer said that they know very well that air-stewardesses are not suppose to wear high heels and pregnant mothers over 6 month are not allowed to board a plane. But they add in this for artistic purposes and to make the series more exciting.
