I missed the first 30 minutes, so when I changed channels, I saw Chris looking very guilty and Sam leaving Donald's house after scolding Chris. Didn't know what happened and frankly didn't quite care.
Then we meet Kam Chak Tai as the new instructor. Yep, name is Mr Kam Chak and one name, Tai, not Tin as I previously thought. But to make matters easier, he has an English name that I Taylor. Anyways in one flight simulation Zita was paired with Isaac and guess what? Zita was so busy looking at Isaac she kinda flunked the exams and Taylor told her that. She knew she definitely need to not concentrate too much in Isaac.
Then came the big fight between Donald and Chris. Chris found out his father was fired by Donald's father for being just 10 minutes later. Donald immediately went to see his dad who was having some big financial crisis, so he didn't explain much. In fact I have never seen a father having so little regard and respect for his only son. So the assistant explained things, that Chris' father being later caused Donald's father a very big contract, thus the crisis we see on the screen. Donald realised his dad wasn't wrong so he quietly went home and he saw Chris. Chris didn't even listen to Donald and started to call Donald's father names, and even said his father was so rich and so high up there he would never understand the poor people's plight, and Donald was just like his dad. Roy and Isaac were there and Roy even said those hurtful words and Donald in a rage didn't know what to say. Chris left and Zita walked out trying to pacify things but Donald was too hurt and he too left. Then the someone was at the door and it was the assistant who explained everything to Zita and Roy was apologetic but Isaac for some unknown reason stood his ground and he too left after Zita scolded him. Zita ran after him and wanted to scold him some more when Isaac said "I realised you scold me for the sake of arguing with me, not because you care about Donald.." Maybeeeeeeee....
Then Zita found Donald and Donald was so happy he hugged her and wanted to tell her how much he loved her when Zita kinda ran away.
Then Zita was in her room day dreaming about Isaac and kinda drew some picture with the words .."Issac loves Zita".
At this point I must pause again.
Issac? Did I read it right? I always thought Isaac is spelled as Isaac and not Issac. Michelle Ye should know right? Or they have someone who can't spell? I never noticed the end credits so I don't know how Isaac's name was spelt all along but you know what? I refuse to spell it as Issac. It is Isaac and I stick with that name. I have had it with Jenipher, Christofer, and what nots. Isaac is Isaac.
Anyway one of her drawings flew out of the window accidentally and Roy picked it up and saw it.
Back at the house Chris and Donald became friends again and Roy showed Chris that drawing. They immediately went to Isaac and Isaac asked "Everything ok with you (Chris) and Donald?" and Chris said "Ya, but I am not sure about you and Donald" and Chris showed Isaac that drawing and Isaac looked shocked and ta-daaaaa...tomorrow we have a crisis as I think Donald got hit by a car!
Performance wise, I think I know why Ron Ng got criticised very badly. I always thought his Isaac knew Zita was attracted to him as kinda indicated in the last episode and in the earlier part of today's episode but apparently not. Ron is expressing the wrong emotions, or perhaps not emoting enough. Very inadequate performance. And I don't get why Isaac refused to apologise about Donald's incident when many episodes before, he always apologise when he is wrong and when he knows he is wrong. Very strange .... the writing is getting weaker and weaker as the episodes go by, like the series is running out of steam.
The story about Paul and Ruby is just boring by the way.
Michelle Ye is still scary..at times she acts wooden and yet many times she acts too much. I take back what I say about her.. she really needs to control her acting or else her acting is everywhere, you know. She should learn from Raymond Lam, the disciple from the same school of acting as hers and yet he graduated with honours. He really toned down these days and Michelle Ye should tone down too.
Bosco was not great tonight when his Chris finally had something to do. A bit weak in emoting his feelings but way better than the rest of the young guys, like Kenneth Ma who gives a very light hearted performance to his rather empty character who has nothing much to do.
Basically that's it for tonight. I am running out of comments to say about this series actually.
End credits we have Nancy Wu explaining about why they have the rule of min 40 minutes check in time.

Haha, Ron's character's name is spelt as Issac in this series. Michelle Ye didn't make a mistake. Zita (Michelle) is also not the 1st person who spelt the name this way. You might not have notice it, but Zoe (Myolie) also spelt his name as Issac in her card that she sent to Sam and Issac to congratulate them for reuniting as brothers.

As for Sam scolding Chris, there should be a small subplot where Chris, Issac, Roy and Donald were dirtying the airport washrooms on purpose to get a cleaning lady fired. I forgot whether Sam found out the culprit himself or the cleaning lady told him. But the cleaning lady confided in Sam that she is Chris mother Chris was doing this because he was ashame to have his mom working as a cleaning lady in the same airport he worked it. Sam later scolded Chris for looking down on his mom. But the story did not end there. Issac later told Sam that Chris was doing this not because he was ashame of his mother but because his mother has back pain and he doesn't want his mother to overtax herself with her cleaning job. Issac also said that if Chris was doing that because he was ashame of his mother, Issac, Roy and Donald would have help him.

I didn't see that part about Chris, so he was misunderstood. But then why then Chris just go and ask "Mom, please quit?" instead of doing so many little actions??
I don't remember the reason clearly. I think his mom refuse to quit gua. She still didn't quit after the misunderstanding was cleared. I think Sam gave her a lighter job or something after that.

i just finished watching this last episode for this week. yes issac is spelled like issac. i did not know you could spell it as isaac. however where i'm watching it comes with chinese subtitles and when they spell english names, they always spelled it as Issac as well. if i recalled correctly, chris told his mom to quit the job, but she didnt want to a long time ago. the show is finally getting a bit more interesting!
